Starfighter 25 + 50 being pushed back in preparation for tow. The aircraft was absolutely beautiful and featured a chocolate brown top, red center stripe and yellow bottom, the same shades as the West German flag. All the F-104s were very well maintained for their missions.

A U.S. Army UH-1H Huey taxis out for takeoff in front of a tactical control tower and GCA unit, seen in the background. The location is Schwaebisch Hall Army Air Field (AAF), Dolan Barracks, near Schwaebisch Hall and Weckrieden, not far from the Kocher Tal Bridge..

Another view of the UH-1H posing for the camera. Schwaebisch Hall was home to the Aviation assets of the 59th ATC Battalion and the 180th Aviation Company, "Big Windy," the latter of which operated Boeing Vertol CH-47C Chinook medium-lift helicopters.
