The Luftwaffe Lockheed F-104 Starfighter 25 + 50, which was marked in the colors of the West German flag, featuring the NATO emblem of Jagdbombergeschwader 34, which was based at Memmingenberg, near the Black Forest. The 25 symolized the Squadron's 25th Anniversary, and the 50 symbolized the 50th Anniversary of Fliegerhorst Kaserne at Memmingenberg, a small town located adjacent to the City of Memmingen, West Germany (FRG).

Starfighter 25 + 50, the lead ship flown by the Squadron Leader during two sixteen-ship formations held later in the day, under tow to the flight ramp for display.
