This is the Farman monoplane covered by Addie in silk. The aircraft was designed as a U-Control flyer and operates in a circular airstrip with either flight controls or flight and power controls for purposes of racing. Some U-control racers have been clocked by Timers at or above 60 miles per hour, an incredible speed since the operator controls from the center! |

The "Stash!" A Pegasus Miles Master MK1 bag kit awaiting a buyer, and that price no longer counts since a discount is waiting with Tony at the front counter. The sale will begin again on Tuesday as it has been extended through Saturday, due to the difficulty in handling the massive numbers of kits currently at the shop and inbound from the warehouse. |

Airliners include the 707, Electra, DC-4, a Flying Tiger 707 known as the "Pole Cat," and an old colors United 727-200 which left today, April 23rd. Above, an Xtreme Detail Luftwaffe FW190D. The Xtreme Detail kits, some of which sold in the $69-$99 dollar range have been marked down to $45.00, and may be subject to further discount at the counter. |

The largest balsa airplane doesn't reside at T&A, as that aircraft is the Gossamer design created to prove the initial feasibility of man-powered flight. That aircraft flew and proved itself at Minter Field, Schafter, California, north of Bakersfield. The pilots would ride their bikes in training from Edwards AFB to T&A Hobby Lobby, to drop in and say "Hi!" |
