Gallery of This Morning's Activities 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Shortly after opening, the crowd extended from the front of the shop to the alley way entrance.

The hobbies at the center section of the shop along the wall.

Boxes of Radio Control units were available for sale, one at a time, or the whole box.

Classic hobbies that were previously built by their owners were offered for sale. They can either represent collectable toys or can be acquired for restoration by their new owners or museums for eventual display.

In terms of collectables, they are to this generation today what metal toy and wood airplanes were to generations of the 1910s through 1950s.

New and used kits along the wall near the alley way entrance include the Fairchild PT-19 to the left and several rare kits from the 1950s and 1960s.

Tony gingerly brings down the Goldberg Shoestring Racer for a buyer to look at. The buyer bought...

Visitors examine kits on the west wall at T*A Hobby Lobby, along with a series of completed, ready to fly or restorable kits along the shelf and on the floor (not depicted in this image...).

A buyer examines a Canadair F-86 display model offered for sale. The model was presented to Tony by visiting members of the Canadian Armed Forces, which purchased the CP-40 Orion from nearby Lockheed. The picture does not do the model justice...the color is a dark, golden, metalic glossy finish. The buyer did not buy.

An expanded view of the east wall at T&A, showing a mix of new and Classic RC and flying models for sale.

The sign displays part of the story, but add to it the opportunity to collect classic kits and model displays, to include corporate engineered display models and travel agent models, the likes of which have not been seen other than at museum facilities.

A Norvel Skybaby Sports Flyer. The price indicates $79.95...

...you might want to check with Tony because he was knocking down prices so fast yesterday that Wal Mart's Happy Face frowned!

Classic Wings...

...not only are kits for sale, but wings and other remnants of Classic projects were also available. One buyer had an existing aircraft with a wing damaged beyond repair. He found himself a new wing at T&A.

Rubber Band Classics...

Some will find Classic airframes for sale, some needing mere replacement of their aged skins...others, ready to fly.

Unfinished Classics...like this Vought F4U Corsair with much of the inner RC workings already installed.

Just mere hours away from flying...much of the work already done.
